The New York City police department has a bad reputation amongst civil rights advocates because they shoot and kill innocent black and hispanic people. Amadou Dialo and Sean were both killed by cops. It’s really saddening.

It’s weird how things can change in a generation. Police officers used to be someone you’d go to for help. In a lot of ways they’re viewed more like thugs today. They really need to get the old image back.
