			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The news today is full of stories of the protesting monks and people of Burma. We here have nothing but admiration for those brave souls willing to put their lives on the line in order to stand up to their lousy government. We may think we&#8217;ve got it bad but at least we can say (almost) anything we like without fear of terrible torture and murder.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ll be monitoring the news with interest over the forthcoming hours and days but we are not optimistic of a peaceful outcome which makes the bravery of those protesting all the more significant.</p>
